Our Wonderful Staff
Owner
Miss Lisa opened Madrona Children’s Academy in the Spring of 2019. She has been a preschool teacher for 17+ years and is currently working on her Masters in Education, specializing in Early Childhood Development.
She loves nothing more than to be around children! So much so that she has 5 of her own!!
Moving to the Olympic Peninsula in 2014, Ms. Lisa noticed a need for support, love and community for local families and their children. She has created a space where children can grow and build the foundations for a lifetime of success.

Miss Lauren is the Pod A Lead Teacher for our 2.5 and 3 year old students. She has been teaching professionally for 8 years and the children absolutely adore her! Her creativity and gentle manner bring a sense of harmony to the classroom that is felt by everyone who enters. Miss Lauren recently had a beautiful baby boy! She currently plans to begin her BA in Early Childhood Education Fall of 2023.
Hi! My name is Ms. Aliya and I am new to teaching this year! I am the assistant teacher in Pod A preschool classroom.
I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, but moved to Washington when I was 7 with my mom and 3 siblings. I have always known that teaching was the path for me and absolutely love children. I have many family members who are teachers that have inspired me over the years and I look forward to building a foundation of learning for our students. I know I have so much to learn from them, I am excited and grateful for this opportunity.
Ms. Linda is our wonderful co-morning opener and our substitute Teacher.
